Pastor's Danny and Edie Mileto
Evangelist Danny Mileto came to the Lord in January 1998 at Joshua Christian Church in Oakland, CA. It was here that Pastor Danny married his wife, Edie, in May 1999. He began sharing the word of God in nursing homes in Oakland CA. in 2000. He attended classes called Living Waters and Basics of the Faith at Shiloh Bible School in Oakland, CA.

In May 2001, Pastor Danny received the call of God to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ. His pastors, Michael and Carla Moore at Joshua Christian Church, sent him and his wife to a year-long training course. He completed many classes at Shiloh Bible College including Evangelism, Foundational Theology 1 & 2, Church History, New Testament, Priesthood 1 & 2, Writing Skills, Hermeneutics and the Restoration books of Ruth, Esther, Ezra and Nehemiah.

In June 30, 2001 Pastor Danny was licensed with a certificate to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ by the voting of all of Joshua’s members.

In 2002, Pastor Danny and his wife attended thirteen "Married for Life" classes at Shiloh and became marriage counselors at Joshua Christian Church to prepare engaged couples for marriage.

Pastor Danny was appointed Sunday School Superintendent in March 2002 and put together all of the curriculum for the students and teachers for Sunday school. His wife, Edie, was appointed Principal over Vacation Bible School in the same year.

In January 2003, he was made Pastor of Evangelism and started an outreach program with food and the Word. He was privileged to train in evangelism with Acts Full Gospel Church in Oakland, CA. which started with just fifty people and increased to seven thousand. He was asked by the new pastor of Joshua Christian Church  Pastor Donald Scurryt he former Pastor’s Michael and Carla Moore decided to work with Shiloh) to train with Acts and was appointed Assistant Pastor of Joshua. During this period, he became the Sunday school teacher, the minister who did the altar call, prayed in the church on Sundays and prayed a covering over the sermons and Bible studies. He also acted as backup to the senior pastor for sermons and Bible studies.

Due to the increasing demand on his life for evangelism, Pastor Danny and his wife left Joshua Christian Church in 2005 on good terms and remain in contact. He was then ordained by God’s Living Word Ministries in 2005 and has since performed marriages and funerals. He was ordained as workplace chaplain at the Church at Work in August 2008. He organized Bible studies at his place of employment and evangelized in coffee shops and restaurants. Those who received the Lord were sent to churches in their respective areas.

Shortly thereafter, Pastor Danny found a group which was simply doing church in homes and he felt this was God’s purpose as it was in the beginning. This is when God showed him that he was to do church in small settings and teach people on what they believe, and they would in turn teach others and do the same, thereby expanding the Kingdom of God one house at a time.
